Google Group Request

Use this service to request that a new Google Group be created or an existing Google Group be deleted.

There must be a Faculty or Staff "Owner" for a Google Group. This person will be responsible for day to day operation of the group such as adding or deleting users, changing the roles of existing users or modifying the groups settings.  We also suggest that the Owner make at least one other user a group Manager or Co-Owner.  This user would be able to perform these tasks if the owner is on vacation or away from their job.

Who can request this service?

Fresno State faculty and staff can request this service. Faculty or staff may request a group for use by students in their area or for student organizations they advise.  Neither students nor prospective students may request a Google Group.

How do I request this service?

Please click the Request Service button located in the upper-right-hand corner of this screen and submit a request.

How much does the service cost?

There is no charge associated with this service.
