New Zoom Phone Request (including phone features as a AR, Call Queue, etc.)

All new employees will receive a new phone number.  Existing employees moving departments will take their phone number with them in most cases. Phone numbers will be treated in the same way as email addresses, they don't change when an employee moves departments.

Desk phones are optional and are the responsibility of each Department to purchase. More information on the types of phones that will work with Zoom Phone can be found on our webpage fresnostate.edu/zoomphone

New employees, faculty, and staff will need to have a Zoom account established in order to get a Zoom phone assigned. Create an account logging into fresnostate.zoom.us.

Fresno State faculty and staff directly responsible for the person being hired or the Department Administrative Assistant

How do I request this service?

The first step is to have the new employee establish a Zoom account; this can be done by logging in to fresnostate.zoom.us.
After the Zoom account is established click Request Service

How much does the service cost?

Fresno State provides all faculty and staff with a Zoom Phone softphone upon request. There is a monthly fee for each phone line, therefore, Departments will be billed monthly per line assigned.

Certain requests may require departments to purchase equipment, such as Polycom desk phones, according to specifications provided by Technology Services. Some requests may include charges to the department for labor and item costs such as cables.
