This Knowledge Base article will show you how to connect to your Fresno State computer using Windows Remote Access on an IOS Device .
Before you are able to use Windows Remote Access you must have the Fresno State VPN install on your computer and know the name of your Fresno State computer that you will be connecting to.

Once you have the VPN installed and the name of your Fresno State computer please follow the steps below to setup Windows Remote Access.
1. On your IOS device please click on the App Store.
2. Once you are in the App Store please click on the Search Icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen. You will then type in RDP
3. You will now select the app called “Microsoft Remote Desktop” then press the Get button.
4. Once the app has finished installing you will click on the Open button.
5. The application will now open. At this point we have not configured any computer to RDP. We will now click on the plus symbol in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
6. Now please click on the button “PC Name”.
7. Now you will type in the name of your Fresno State computer also known as an Asset.
8. After entering in your computer name you will then click Save in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
9. You will now have your Fresno State computer added to the Microsoft Remote Desktop app on your IOS Device. If all the steps have been completed correctly you should see the image below. You will now click on the computer that you have just added.
10. Once you click on the computer that you have added a box will popup. Please enter in your Fresno State username and password. This is the same password that you user to log into your Fresno State computer. You will then click Continue. Please see the image below.
11. If all the steps have been completed you should see a screen like in the image below.
