1. Obtain the app package from your IT administrator and then copy the TGZ file to the Linux endpoint.

2. Open a Terminal window.

3. Change Directory to where the Global Protect File is located.

4. Run the Following Command to install sudo dpkg -i GlobalProtect_deb-4.1.0.0-19.deb

5. After the install finish run the command globalprotect to verify global protect is installed.

6. The run the command show –status.

7. Connect to Fresno State VPN portal command connect --portal vpn.csufresno.edu

8. Enter your Fresno State AD username and password.

9. Now your connected run the show –status
10. Global Protect is now connected
