Technology Services Project Request

The Project Management Office, (PMO), within Technology Services will provide support for technology-related projects by:

  • Reviewing and assessing new project requests

  • Working with the requestor to understand and document the project requirements

  • Assigning a Project Manager for approved projects

  • Creating repeatable processes from project request to project completion

  • Encouraging an environment focused on timely performance and execution

  • Promoting transparency and visibility of all completed, ongoing, and upcoming technology projects

 

WHY DO I NEED TO SUBMIT A PROJECT REQUEST?

The information you provide will help Technology Services review and manage the flow of project requests coming into Technology Services.  The desired result of this process is a strategically aligned, feasible project, that is approved by the appropriate committees or business stakeholders.  

USE THIS FORM TO SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF PROJECTS:

  • PeopleSoft major enhancements, modifications, or upgrades

  • New Enterprise Software requests, (Adobe, Canvas, Google Mail)

  • Requests for custom applications

  • New and complex web-based applications

  • IT Resource requests exceeding 30 hours of work

  • Requests requiring FTEs from more than one college, department, or division

  • Requests that will add a new Service to the IT service catalog

  • Discretion of the VP for IT & CIO
