Resolution: 
Accessing your Shared Drive folders

Open up your web browser, Google chrome is preferred

Go to drive.google.com

You may be asked to sign in. If you are already signed into your mail.fresnostate.edu account, you can skip this step. When signing into Google Drive, put your full Fresno State email address in. The email address will be username@mail.fresnostate.edu. After putting in your username, you will click the Next button.

After signing into Google drive, you will be taken to Campus Login Services. On this page, put in your Username and Fresno State password. Then click Login.

Once you have logged in, you will click on the Shared Drive button in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Once you click on Shared Drive, you will see all of your Shared Drive folders.

Creating Your Shared Drive folder 

If you want to create a new Shared Drive folder, you will click the New button on the upper left hand corner of the screen.

Once you click New, you will be asked to name your new shared drive folder. After you name the drive, you will select the create button.

Adding Members To your Drive

Now that your Shared Drive folder has been created, you will be able to add members to your drive by clicking the 3 vertical dots to the right of the folder and click Share.

Once you click on Share, you can add members to your drive by typing in their full email addresses. As you are adding members, you can also set up what type of role each member will have. There are 3 different roles that you may choose from: Editor, Commenter, or Viewer. Each of these roles will be described in your Shared Drive.

If you need to manage access after sharing your drive, you can click on the vertical dots to the right of the folder, click Folder Information. Then Details. Then click the Manage Access button to modify any members you've added.
