Video on How to Transfer Calls
We will now show you how to transfer calls with your new Avaya phone.
First, locate your phone's softkeys. These are the cluster of buttons located directly below the phone's LCD Screen. The Avaya 9640 and 9620 each has four softkeys, while the 9610 has two.
When a call is received, the softkeys will change to features related to the action being performed. When a call is on the line, one of the options will be “transfer.” To transfer a call, simply press the button and then dial the five digit extension you wish the call to be transferred to.
