Changes to Service Catalog

Service Catalog Updates

Technology Services has been monitoring your feedback for the Service Catalog since our launch in 2018. Using your feedback, we are happy to announce exciting changes that will help you find services quickly and painlessly.

Highlights of the biggest changes are as follows:

  • Re-purposing of  the General Service Request:
    • We have re-purposed the General form which used to live on the Service Catalog main page. In its place, each category will not have a general form in the event that the advertised services for the category do not meet your current need. This change will greatly improve response time and Technology Service's ability to quickly address your needs.
  • Service Category Reorganization:
    • Categories have been reorganized based on customer feedback to help customers better find the service needed. Additional categories have been added, and unpopular categories have been removed in their place.
  • All Services are now available to view regardless of login status to TDX
  • Multi-appearance of the same form:
    • To address services that fit into multiple categories, you will now find the same service in multiple locations. This will help you find the service you need when multiple categories fit the problem.
  • New Services:
    • There have been several additional services added by popular demand.
  • New email confirmation message:
    • You will now see a new email when submitting a ticket, clearly outlining the details of your request and a prominent link allowing you check the details and status of your request. An example of this email is shown below:
